Nothing Happens-001

These days, it rains a lot.
I saw red flowers lying on the wet, dark green road.
I wonder, the ground or the sky,
which one feels more like home to them.
Nothing Happens was inspired by boredom, and a constant urge to escape.
I’ve noticed so many ads beginning with phrases like: “A refreshing escape from everyday life…”
It struck me how easily this idea is accepted, often without a second thought. It made me wonder: Escape from everyday life? What timeline are you living in? And where is this place where daily life doesn’t exist?
That’s when the idea of creating a visual journal based on the mundane came to me.
Nothing Happens, used to frustrate me.I saw it as a failure, a lack, something to avoid.
But now, I want this space to hold boredom, not as emptiness, but as a door.
A door that opens when the wind shuts my window, the world goes quiet, and I finally sit with my thoughts. In that stillness, I hope something stirs:a sentence,a shape,a sound.
That’s where this ( ) begins.
