Re-Sequencing Practicing 003, by Xinci LU



Each work in Re-Sequencing feels like a mirror, reflecting how my life was constructed at the moment based on how I interpret the materials in my everyday experiences. Back to then when I created this visual, I was in a subtle dramatic environment, where everyone was involved somehow, I thought I could observe from a distance, but when I looked at the salad box at that moment, I wrote: "Drama can take place in a salad box, and an orange can go on its own space odyssey. During breaks, my imagination travels far"...


This is my daily practice to keep actively on visual composition. In breaking away from a fixed daily routine, this project aims to re-compose the objects, space, and time, to evoke the poetics of everyday life.

I am afraid that a repeating life mode would numb my sense and motivation to creativity. In this project, I keep capturing interesting images in my life and treat them as my inspiration to explore the potential of graphic design.
